Blue Stegosaurus Dino

This original ceramic character ornament was handmade in Scotland. 
 
Blobs are colourful creatures that come in all shapes and sizes. This dinosaur blob was made using pinch-pot, slip casting and sculpting techniques. It was then dried and bisque fired to 1000 degrees C. After cooling it was hand-painted with coloured underglazes, then dipped in a transparent glaze and fired to 1223 degrees C.
